Hiatt Vacation 2015: Day Four: Universal Studios Hollywood!

This post is mostly just another large photo dump. We got up Sunday raring to head to Universal Studios. We grabbed some breakfast from the hotel, and then hopped in the van we rented.

The weather was perfect....to begin with...

My awesome father-in-law decided to upgrade our passes to front of the line passes, which meant no waiting! We walked in and met Shrek right off the bat, and the kids got nervous, so I jumped in for a photo op.

Proof I cant get my mother-in-law to do almost anything with me!

Checking out the view

Waterworld show!

It was awesome!

Simpson's exhibit wasn't ready when we were there but Kev had to get a pic.

Transformers ride rocked and Jaxon was about an inch to short to ride so he was understandably a bit upset. Note to self...make everyone wear platform shoes next time...

Lunch was Pink's World Famous hot dogs...so good!

And that's about the time the rain hit...

Studio Tour time!

Tucker told me, "Hey that worker said I look like a ghost!" We were being thrifty and reusing our Disneyland ponchos...at Universal. Haha!

Jaws!!!! Literally grew up watching this movie.

Whoville!

Bates Motel

Disaster zone used for tv and movies. The plane was an actual plane they destroyed.

SpongeBob fun and Tucker finally got brave enough to meet him.

Kyan wouldn't get in the pic...boo.
 Scooby Doo!

Minions!

It would not quit raining....it literally poured all afternoon. Jaxon is in that stroller somewhere...

The boys were sooo good though! Just happy to be alive!

We tried to watch another showing of the Waterworld show because the boys loved it, but they had to cancel it about five minutes in because the rain got too heavy.

We left and ended up completely soaked, head to toe, by the time we made it to the car. Changed into dry clothes once we got back to the hotel and went for some yummy dinner at Outback. I snapped this photo of my food, and right after got a text from my MIL with a photo of her soup that said, "My food is better than yours." She's a riot! Happy and exhausted, we tumbled into bed dreaming of our tomorrow: the last day at Disneyland!
